1996, Stick served as an extra on the TV show Xena: Warrior Princess.
It happened after a series of Amazing Rhythm Aces concerts in New Zealand,
where the hit adventure show was filmed. While having lunch with Xena’s
director of photography, who also was helping promote the Aces dates,
Davis made a joking comment that led to an almost-unnoticeable, before
the opening credits appearance as a fleeing peasant in the first season’s
“Callisto” episode. Looking back on his brief acting career
Stick says, “It’s all show business. The only difference
between me and a ham is that I can’t be cured.”
